So I took sometime to really check out what you’re all about. I really really like what you are doing. I think that branding your art the way that you have is probably the smatest way to make it big as an artist. How was the NY Gift Show? Was it beneficial? Where you able to secure any retailers or make any valuable connection? I’m sure this was costly was it worth the money? Was this at the Javitz Center? I could ask questions all day. Lemme know I’m genuinely interested in what you are doing—its very well organized and ambitious.
Hi valentine! I apologize for my delayed reply on your questions. Thank you for your comments! If you want to be in the gift and stationery industry as a manufacturer hands down trade shows are a requirement. All the major players – vendors and buyers – in the industry are at these shows and you should be too. I actually started at the national stationery show in 2005 before doing the new york gift show – that show is smaller but is an excellent place to launch a gift/stationery business or to test the waters because it’s a less expensive show and easier to get in. i’ve met a lot of my customers over the years at the tradeshows, sales reps, and even my publisher! I could go on all day about my business so I’m actually going to do a blog post about it sometime soon – hopefully that will answer more of your questions – thanks for taking the time to read and write!
Follow Kiwi and Pear as they explore the skies in the brand new Kiwi and Pear's Balloon Adventure game app! You may also join Kiwi and Pear on another journey in the interactive storybook app Kiwi and Pear World Adventure. Both apps are now available for the iPod, iPhone, and iPad.
